The Measurement Company, LLC ("Measurement Co.," "we," "us") is a measurement and research firm. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with applicable law and the nature of our work.
This policy applies to visitors of measurementco.com, people who contact us through the site, and users of our client workspace where applicable. Separate agreements may govern data processed on behalf of clients during engagements.
When you use our contact form, email us, or create a client account, we may collect your name, email address, company, role, and any message or files you submit.
Under contract, we may process business contact information, campaign metadata, and measurement inputs supplied by clients. That data is used to deliver services and is governed by our client agreements.
Our hosting provider and client portal may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps for security and operations.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do share limited site activity with LinkedIn through the LinkedIn Insight Tag so we can measure and target our own advertising, which California law treats as "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can turn that off at any time (see Cookies below). We do not use site contact data for unrelated marketing without your consent.
We share information with service providers that help us operate the site and deliver work (for example, form handling, hosting, authentication, website analytics, and advertising measurement). They are permitted to use data only to perform services for us.
We retain contact inquiries for as long as needed to respond and maintain business records. Client engagement data is retained per contract and applicable law.
Our client workspace uses authentication cookies or local storage to keep signed-in users logged in and to protect access to files and reports. These are necessary for the portal to function and are always on.
The public marketing pages on measurementco.com use Google Analytics 4 to understand traffic and how visitors use the site (for example, pages viewed and approximate location). Analytics sets cookies or similar identifiers when loaded. We do not run analytics inside the signed-in client workspace.
The public marketing pages use the LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure the results of our LinkedIn advertising and to build audiences for ads on LinkedIn. It sets cookies or similar identifiers when loaded. The tag is not used in the signed-in client workspace. LinkedIn's processing is described in the LinkedIn Privacy Policy, and LinkedIn members can manage ad settings in their LinkedIn account.
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them. Rejecting is as easy as accepting. We ask once and keep your answer, either way, on that browser for six months, so you are not asked again on every visit.
You can change your mind at any time, wherever you are: . Turning them off also deletes the analytics and advertising cookies we can reach from this site. You can block cookies through your browser settings as well, though blocking essential authentication cookies will prevent use of the client workspace while signed in.
